Boarding Party play Original Oz Rock Style Punk with a touch of Dub.
Our new
EP is out now and includes a
filmclip of "Bushfire" produced by award winning filmmaker Rose Schram.
The 4 tracks are a taste of the Boarding party sound which takes the agressiveness of punk and melds it with a warmer more Oz rock style.
Themes are timeless yet very twenty first century; bushfire, life on a fishing boat, the possible bleak future of Bass Strait City and the
true life story of a yacht of hashish smugglers. Excellent artwork by Alanna our graphic artist caps off a neat, punchy release.
Boarding Party aim to find a middle ground where hard punk meets a more classic Oz rock sound.
Tuneful, accessible music based in the bitter sweet existence of our everyday real life struggles.
Our new lineup in 2008 includes punk/activist singer Peachy on duelling vocals with James. Her strong Ozzy singing style working brilliantly into our bitter sweet sound.
